Pot roast seasoning contains a variety of herbs and spices. While each recipe can vary in ingredients, the best pot roast seasoning recipes contain garlic powder, celery salt, onion powder, ground black pepper, sweetener (or a sugar-free substitute), basil, oregano, and smoked paprika.

  • Brown Sugar - this adds a wonderful sweetness, but feel free to omit it. A sugar substitute may be used if you are avoiding sugar.
  • Garlic Powder
  • Kosher Salt
  • Celery Salt
  • Onion Powder
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • Dried Basil
  • Dried Oregano
  • Smoked Paprika - for a wonderful smoky flavor I use smoked paprika, but you could also use regular or a sweet variety.

Hey there, I'm Kori.

I’m a culinary school trained chef specializing in holistic nutrition and wellness. I’ve always been a major foodie, and as I’ve aged, the full impact of my love of food—and not-necessarily-healthy eating habits—caught up to me. In an effort to make positive changes in my life (and hopefully yours, too), I created this website where I could share great-tasting, craveable, healthy recipes.
