    Quick and Easy

Just a bag of frozen cauliflower, olive oil, and a few seasonings are all you need to make these delicious vegetable side dish!

    Roasted Flavor

Get that delicious roasted vegetable taste in a matter of minutes - from frozen. Crazy right? 🙂 If you've only microwaved frozen vegetables before, you're about to get hooked.

    Healthy

This is a gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, low-carb, and keto broccoli recipe. Broccoli is a very healthy vegetable, and only a small amount of olive oil is used for cooking it.

    🥘 What You Will Need

Here are the ingredients you will need to make air fryer frozen broccoli:

Frozen Broccoli Florets - the recipe calls for between 12 and 16 ounces because these are the common package weights you can find in your supermarket freezer - there's no need to even measure!

Olive Oil - olive or avocado oil work well.

Kosher Salt - I prefer kosher salt in most recipe, but you can use sea salt or table salt. If you use table salt you will need to adjust the amount down slighly.

    Ground Black Pepper

Parmesan Cheese - I like to use the finely grated kind, but you can use whatever is your favorite.

For exact ingredient quantities, please see the recipe card below!

    🔪 How To Make It

Here's how to cook frozen broccoli in air fryer:

    Season

Preheat the air fryer to 390°F

In a medium-sized bowl, add frozen broccoli, olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

    Air Fry

Transfer broccoli florets to the air fryer basket and cook for 9 to 13 minutes or until desired tenderness and crispiness is reached, turning broccoli halfway during the cooking process.

    🥗 How To Serve

Here are a few ways to serve air fryer frozen broccoli:

Cheese - broccoli and cheese are always good together, right? Go ahead and sprinkle your favorite cheese or drizzle that cheddar sauce.

Drizzle - drizzle or dip in a favorite sauce like buffalo, Sugar-Free Sweet Chili, to this fabulous Copycat Big Mac Sauce (all are sugar free, gluten free, and keto-friendly)

Make it Vegan - omit the parmesan cheese.

    📖 Variations

Here are a few ways you can customize your air fryer frozen broccoli:

    • Spicy - add chili pepper flakes or toss with cayenne pepper to add some spice.
    • Lemon Pepper - use it instead of salt and pepper to give your broccoli a delicious lemony taste.
    • Dairy-Free and Vegan - omit the parmesan or use a dairy-free vegan substitute.

    💭 Top Tips

    • Adjust the salt and pepper to taste (cheese too).
    • There are temperature variances among air fryer units. Know your air fryer and adjust this recipe accordingly.
    • Because the broccoli is frozen, it contains a lot of water. Because of the water content, the broccoli will actually steam first but then start to crisp. The florets should be tender on the inside with dark golden browning on the tips when finished. They won't quite be as crispy as if you used fresh broccoli.
