Best Copycat Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew Recipe

"This cold brew iced coffee is the perfect thing on a Fall day when you need a refreshing pick-me-up. This version is flavored with pure pumpkin puree - and it's delish!"

I have some more delicious cold brew recipes for you to make! 🙂 Be sure to try Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew, Chocolate Cream Cold Brew, and this Honey Almond Milk Cold Brew - they're all so easy and tasty!

Copycat

This recipe is a copycat of the Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew offered in their Fall lineup. They make their own cold brew coffee, add ice - and the creamy pumpkin cold foam is the star of the show! Creamy, pumpkin spice, and perfection.

Pumpkin Spice

This iced coffee is topped with pumpkin cream cold foam. If you like cream in your coffee, you could try adding a pumpkin creamer or pumpkin spice syrup to kick up the sweetness and flavor if you prefer.

Make it Healthy

  • This recipe is low-carb, low-sugar, gluten-free.
  • Because of the cream, it is a bit higher in fat, but enjoy it in moderation or use lower-fat cream.
  • Make this plant-based and substitute creamy oat milk for the heavy cream.

Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Ingredients

Ingredients needed to make pumpkin cream cold brew coffee.Pin

Here are the ingredients you will need to make pumpkin cream cold brew:

  • Pre Made Cold Brew Coffee - make your own coffee at home or use store-bought for ease.
  • Vanilla Syrup - regular or sugar-free.
  • Heavy Cream - substitute oat milk or almond milk for plant based or vegetarian.
  • Pumpkin Puree - unsweetened canned pumpkin puree. This adds amazing fresh taste to the pumpkin cold foam! You could also use pumpkin spice syrup.
  • Powdered Sugar - regular or sugar substitute.

For exact ingredient quantities, please see the recipe card below!

Substitutions and Variations

Here are a few ways you can vary or make substitutions to this recipe:

  • Replace the powdered sweetener with natural sugar such as maple syrup or honey.
  • Adjust the amount of sweetener or syrup in your coffee to your taste.
  • Use a store-bought cold brew or cold brew concentrate of your choice, or I have two recipes for at-home cold brew: Cold Brew Coffee Recipe or a French Press Cold Brew version to check out!
  • Make your own vanilla syrup with a little vanilla extract and your favorite sweetener.
  • Add a little pumpkin pie spice to taste or cinnamon.
  • For the best taste, use real pumpkin puree. Pumpkin pie filling may also be used.
  • Instead of puree, pumpkin-flavored syrup may be used but you'll need to omit the sweetener in the pumpkin cold foam; otherwise, it will make it too sweet.

How To Make Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew

Here are the step-by-step instructions for making this recipe:

Flavor The Cold Brew

  1. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup and your cold brew to the bottom of a 16 to 18-ounce glass.
  2. Stir together until well blended.
  3. Fill your glass with ice, leaving room for the pumpkin foam (about 2 inches) from the top.

Make The Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam

  1. Combine the heavy whipping cream, sweetener, and 1 tablespoon of pumpkin puree in a small bowl with a whisk or a milk frother. Whip the cream until it doubles in volume or reaches your desired consistency. Note: Be careful not to overwhip your cream, or it will separate.
  2. Pour your creamy cold foam over top of your cold brew.

How To Serve Pumpkin Sweet Cream Cold Brew

  • Garnish by sprinkling a little pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, or nutmeg on top of your foam.
  • Cold brew is best served chilled or over ice. Place your glass in the freezer about 30 minutes ahead of time to serve with a chilled glass also!
  • Garnish the top of your glass with pumpkin pie spice for extra pumpkin flavor.
  • If you like cream in your iced coffee, add a splash of cream and stir before adding the foam on top. Try using a flavored creamer of your choice.

Top Tips

  • Adjust any flavoring to your liking.
  • Make sure to leave enough room on the top of your glass for your cold foam.
  • Remember to not over froth your heavy whipping cream. It will eventually turn to butter and separate.
  • Feel free to make extra cold foam and store it in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
  • No frother? Place the cream in a mason jar and cover tightly. Shake vigorously until your cold foam has thickened to the proper consistency.
