Substitutions:Increase heat by adding more chipotle peppers. Use plain greek yogurt, Mexican crema, or a vegan substitute in place of the sour cream.
Top Tips: The creme will thicken slightly in the refrigerator, dilute with a little milk or water. If you want a runnier crema to start with use Mexican crema as a base instead of the cream.
Serving Suggestions: Serve this chipotle-lime crema with grilled pork, chicken, fish, or beef. Also goes great on tacos, enchiladas, burritos, tostadas, and nachos.
