SUBSTITUTIONS: You may substitute a different flavored vodka to create your version of a martini! Try combining fruits when making your puree.
TOP TIPS: Adjust ratios of any ingredient to your liking; Fresh peaches taste the best but you use frozen (thawed and drained) or canned in fruit juice (drained).
Simple Syrup:
Add 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup sugar substitute (with a 1:1 sugar ratio) to a small saucepan.
On low heat, stir liquid frequently until sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
NOTE: Some sugar substitutes dissolve in room temp water without heat. Try this option first!
Peach Puree:
In a blender, add 2 large peaches and 2 ounces of water (4 tablespoons).
Blend on high until smooth.
Using a small strainer or sieve, strain the liquid into a medium-size mixing bowl.
This recipe makes approximately 8 to 10 ounces of fresh peach juice. You are welcome to half this recipe too, but extra puree can also be frozen for a later time.
