Fajita Spiced Air Fryer Chicken Wings are the best wings! Super easy air fryer wings are crispy and loaded with flavor on the outside while being tender on the inside. The best part? They only take 10 ingredients, and less than 20 minutes to cook!
Preheat your air fryer using the Air Crisp/Tender Crisp Setting to 360 degrees F for 5 minutes.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl mix the dry mustard, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, and oregano.
Add chicken wings to a bowl and toss with dry rub.
Place wings in the Cook and Crisp basket and spray with olive oil cooking spray.
Close the Crisping Lid and air fry for 18 to 22 minutes or until done - tossing the wings every 5 or 6 minutes and giving the wings a quick spritz of olive oil spray each time.
Place wings in a bowl and toss with picante sauce.

Each air fryer is a little different so adjust your cooking times as needed.
By using an olive oil cooking spray instead of drizzling the olive oil you can get a great crisp on your wings. Make sure to use a good quality 100% olive spray.
If you don't want to coat your wings in picante sauce you can dip them instead.
Typically you don't want to overlap your pieces, but I found that 1 lb of chicken wingettes only overlap slightly, and as long as I toss the chicken every 5 to 6 minutes until done, they come out perfect every time.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Sprinkle with fresh parsley or cilantro and some lime juice. These are also delicious with some queso fresco crumbled over the top too!
