In a small bowl mix the dry rub. Coat the wings with olive oil and sprinkle on rub. Place in an airtight container or plastic bag and let marinate for a few hours.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place wings on the baking sheet and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
Place wings on the grill face down. Grill for 10 minutes. Turn chicken over and grill another 10 minutes or until done.
Typically BBQ sauce is added during cooking. It is often added towards the end of cooking so that it does not burn.
The main difference just comes down to the sauce. The wings are the same, but buffalo are smothered in buffalo sauce. BBQ wings are smothered in a BBQ sauce.
