Spray crock pot with nonstick spray or use a liner. Add all ingredients and stir.
Slow cook, stirring occasionally until rice is tender.
Let the rice cool then chill in the refrigerator. Whip the cream right before serving.
Fold the whipped cream into the chilled rice pudding.
Serve warm or cold in a bowl with butter and cinnamon sugar or top with cherry sauce.
